The Academus International School hosted a soft launch and luncheon announcing the commencement of a new age schooling system, located at Gulistan-e-Johar. The soft launch was aimed to put forth Academus's name amongst the education stratosphere of the city.
The Mayor of Karachi, Waseem Akhtar, graced the event with his presence as chief guest, where he commemorated the afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony while sharing a few words about the education system of Pakistan. He also stated how Academus is making international quality education accessible outside of posh localities.
The Board of Directors and the Principal put forward their vision and approach of transforming the upcoming generation into leaders of tomorrow through unique ways of learning beyond the classroom teachings.
Well-known bloggers and PR personalities present at the event covered the launch digitally to create positive conversation around the school system. The launch carried on with a tour of the purpose-built campus with all its facilities such as interactive classrooms, fully equipped labs, library and playground enabling physical, social and mental development of the children.
The launch wrapped up with the Board of Directors sharing their plans and perspectives for the Early Years Program beginning from 8th January 2020.
